So what to do to bring back slide to unlock in iOS 10?

They are still comfortable to swipe screen of iPhone or iPad to unlock the device. They wish they could get back slide to unlock in iOS 10.

How does this new ‘slide to unlock’ work?

Note that when you wake up your iOS device by pressing power or home button, you will still see ‘Press home to unlock’ screen. In a non-Jailbroken iPhone or iPad, swiping right will bring ‘Today View’. In this case, you will find the passcode screen, and upon entering the passcode, you can unlock the screen. In case you have not set up passcode, swiping right will land you on the Home screen, i.e. your phone is unlocked.

One benefit you would appreciate is that SlideToUnlock10 retains the functionality of Touch ID; this means, the source will work even as you have enabled Touch ID on your iPhone or iPad.
