2. Turn On/Off ‘Show App on Apple Watch’ Feature
Suppose a particular app is not updating or installing on your Apple Watch, you should better take that off the shelf, meaning, just don’t show that app on your watch.
Step #1: Open the Watch app on your iPhone.
Step #2: Now, tap on My Watch tab from the bottom menu.
Step #3: Next, search the app which gets stuck while installing or updating.
Step #4: Then toggle the option Show App on Apple Watch OFF.
This will uninstall the problem app from your Apple Watch. after a couple of seconds, turn on Show App on Apple Watch.
3. Reset Network Settings
This you have to perform on your iPhone. As mentioned earlier, your Wi-Fi network may cause the issue, and therefore you should reset network settings on your iPhone.
Step #1: Open Settings on your iPhone.
Step #2: Tap on General.
Step #3: Now, swipe down and tap on Reset.
Step #4: Next, tap on Reset Network Settings.
You will be prompted to enter your iPhone passcode. Type in your passcode and confirm your action.
4. Erase All Contents and Settings
This could be your last option to get rid of the issue of the app got stuck on Apple Watch. Before you go for this, note that the action will unpair your Apple Watch with iPhone. Once you have erased all contents and settings from your Apple Watch, you can pair the watch with iPhone.

Step #2: Press the Digital Crown to bring a list view of all apps on your Apple Watch.

Step #4: Now tap on General and then tap on Reset.
Step #5: Finally, tap on Erase All Contents and Settings, which is the first option.
