Changing the clock face on Echo Spot helps you spice up your experience with the intelligent voice assistant. A clock face is just like a watch face you use on Apple Watch or any other smart watch. Moreover, it is a kind of wallpaper you set on your computer. You would love to see your choice of clock face on this bedside alarm clocks every morning. So here is how to change Amazon Echo Spot clock face.
Note that you can set your photo as clock face on your Echo Spot. Apart from this, you can also use analog and digital clock face. The process to use clock face on your Amazon Echo Spot is pretty simple, and it can be done on the device itself. However, if you wish to enable a personal clock face on Echo Spot, you need to use your photos already uploaded to Prime Photos account. Alternatively, you can also upload a photo in the Alexa app with Echo Spot’s settings.
How to Setup or Change Clock Face on Echo Spot
Step #1: On your Echo Spot screen, swipe down from the top and tap on Settings icon.
Step #2: Scroll down and tap on ‘Home & Clock’ option.
Step #3: Next, you need to tap on ‘Theme’ for clock and home screen.
Step #4: Up next, you can see three options: Analog, Digital, and Personal Photo.
There are six clock faces each in Analog and Digital themes; when you select any one theme, swipe either right to left to explore the clock faces.
Step #5: Once you set your eyes on a particular clock face, tap on the check mark above the face.
In case you want to setup a personal photo as clock face on Echo Spot, you have to tap either on Analog or Digital clock face, and tap on checkmark at the top to continue.
Next, you can choose your personal photo you have uploaded on Amazon Prime Photos or you can upload a photo on Alexa with Echo Spot settings.
How to Change Amazon Echo Spot Clock Face
In case you want to go with the second option (uploading a photo on Alexa), you can follow the steps given below:
Step #1: Launch Alexa app on your smart device.
Step #2: Now tap on Menu button (three horizontal bars aka hamburger button) from the upper left corner.
Step #3: Next, tap on Settings and choose your Echo Spot from the list of Echo devices.
Step #4: Scroll down and tap ‘CHOOSE A PHOTO’; this button can be seen under Home Screen Background.
Step #5: You can pick a photo from your phone’s camera roll and the photo will be set as the background on your Echo Spot’s clock face.
