iOS 11.4 brings the most awaited feature of stereo pairing for HomePod users. The feature gives an ability to create a stereo pair of two HomePods using multi-room AirPlay 2 standard.

To enjoy music in full-fledged form, you need to make sure that your both iPhone and HomePod device are updated. So here, I am going show you how you can setup stereo Pair with two HomePods.

How to Create A HomePod Stereo Pair

If you want to update your iOS device, then go to Settings App → tap on General → tap on Software Update → Finally, tap on Download.

Once you are done with updating your iOS device, you also need to update your HomePod.

To do so Launch Home app → Tap on the small arrow from the top left corner → tap on Software Update which is located under the speaker’s section → At last, Tap on the Update (All) button and agree on the Terms and Conditions page.

Note: You will need to keep your both the HomePod speakers in the same room in Home App. So once you start setting up your second speaker in the same place, you will get an option for using the both HomePod as a stereo Pair. If you are unable to get it done while setting up, then you can follow the below-mentioned steps:

Step #1: Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad device.

Step #2: Tap on the HomePod icon and hold it.

Step #3: Now, tap on Details.

Step #4: Next, tap on Create stereo pair.

After that select another speaker and the room and then assign right and left channel to both the speakers.

Step #5: Next Up, tap on the Back button.

Step #6: At last, tap on Done.

That’s it! Now enjoy listening music at ultra-powerful bass.

How to Ungroup a HomePod Stereo Pair and Make it Work Independently

Step #1: Launch the Home app on your iPhone and iPad.

Step #2: Now, Tap on Paired HomePods and hold it for a second

Step #3: Next, tap on Details.

Step #4: Just go down and tap on Ungroup Accessories.
