How to Add Shortcuts on Apple Watch
Apple introduced support for shortcuts when it released watchOS 7 and because they are new, most fans don’t know how to use them. Here is where we come in. Today we will show you everything there is to know about using shortcuts on Apple Watch. Here is how to add them:
- Access the Shortcuts app on your iPhone;
- Select Gallery;
- A list of available shortcuts will appear. Now you need to search for one that you want to add;
- Select Add Shortcut;
- The shortcut will now be available to access directly from the My Shortcuts panel on the Apple Watch.
How to Remove Shortcuts
Follow the next steps if you realized that a certain shortcut is not very useful and you want to get rid of it.
- Access the Shortcuts app on your iPhone;
- Head over to the My Shortcuts tab;
- Select the three dots icon to access the menu;
- Select the three dots icon again (located in the top right of the screen);
- Now, you can select which shortcuts you want to disable or enable;
- Tap on Done twice to confirm the action.
How to Access Shortcuts
Now that you have installed all your favorite shortcuts, the next step is to access them.
- Press the Digital Crown on Apple Watch to open showcase all your apps;
- Select the Shortcuts app;
- Now, tap on the shortcut that you want to access.
Sidenote: there are some shortcuts that do not work on Apple Watch. Whenever this happen, you will see the following pop-up message “The action ‘shortcut name’ is not supported.
