iPhone 13 5G Leak Showcases Innovative Features (Astrophotography and 120Hz Screen)

Apple does lots of amazing things such as sleek designs and powerful hardware, but there is one aspect that the company brings to the tech industry that none others do. We are talking about Apple’s initiative to innovate. The Cupertino based tech giant is always looking for new ways to improve the design and performances of its iPhones, even if this might lead to a flop or upsetting fans. The risk seems worth the squeeze for Apple. Just take for example how Apple revolutionized the industry with the top-notch bezel. The design was so popular that Apple’s competition had no other option than to copy the design.

With that being said, the expectations for all next-gen iPhones are through the roof each year. The same can be said about iPhone 13 5G. Even though Apple doesn’t want to reveal any information about the much-anticipated smartphone, we got lucky and the renowned leaksters known as Max Weinbach and Jon Posser have gotten their hands on important information about the 2021 iPhone lineup.

iPhone 13 5G Leak

The new iPhone 13 5G leak shows that Apple will introduce a more texturized soft matte back design for all 2021 iPhones. The new design will make the devices easier to grip and to hold. That’s not all. The new iPhone lineup will also be equipped with a LTPO always-on display that features an 120Hz screen refresh rate. This is great news for Apple fans because the improve screen refresh rate will watching videos and playing mobiles games that much more entertaining.

Here is how Max Weinbach describes the new display technology: “Always-On Display will have minimal customizability. Current design basically looks like a toned down lock screen. Clock and battery charge is always visible. Notifications seem to be displayed using a bar and icons. Upon receiving, the notification will pop up normally except that the screen will not entirely light up. Instead, it will display just like you’re used to right now, except dimmed down and only temporarily.”

Astrophotography is in the Plans

Another interesting feature that plans to introduce for the upcoming lineup is astrophotography. From the looks of it, Apple is borrowing this idea from Google. The reason why we are saying this is because Google’s Pixel smartphones are already equipped with an astrophotography mode that allows users to take clear photos of the night sky (including stars and the moon). Considering that iPhones are always equipped with powerful camera specs, we think that iPhone 13 5G will take astrophotography to the next level.
