Apple’s iPhones and iPad, after updated to iOS 11.1, have witnessed strange error. It is a small bug as when users type ‘i’ letter, it gets changed to letter ‘A’ with a symbol. There are two possible solutions to this issue of letter i predictive text bug: you can use text replacement or simply download and use third-party keyboards on your iPhone or iPad.
How to Fix Letter “i” AutoCorrect Bug in iOS 11.1 on iPhone and iPad
Step #1: Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
Step #2: Next, tap on General.
Step #3: Now you need to tap on Keyboard.
Step #4: Here, tap on Text Replacement.
Step #5: Then you are required to tap on (+) icon from the top right corner.
Step #6: Enter I for Phrase.
Step #7: Enter i for Shortcut.
Step #8: Finally, tap on Save.
