Step #1: Open Activity Monitor app available in Applications.

Step #2: Click on Utilities.

Step #3: Next, find the Touch Bar agent and select it.

Step #4: Now click on X button in the top left corner and click on Quit.

How to Refresh Touch Bar Using Terminal

Step #1: You need to open Terminal either from Utilities in Applications or launch terminal using Spotlight Search.

Step #2: Now type in the command line mentioned below:

pkill “Touch Bar agent”

Step #3: Finally, press Return key to kill and refresh Touch Bar on MacBook Pro.

How to Refresh Control Strip on Touch Bar on MacBook Pro

You can find Control Strip on the extreme right part of the Touch Bar that shows buttons to control screen brightness, volume and Siri.

Step #1: First off, open Terminal app from Spotlight Search or from Utilities in Applications.

Step #2: Now you need to enter the command given below:

killall ControlStrip

Step #3: Next, press the Return button on keyboard.

This will refresh the Touch Bar on your MacBook Pro.
