How to Access Siri on iPhone X without Home Button

Absence of home button on iPhone X will surely create some issues for new iPhone users. For old iPhone users too, this revolutionary iPhone X will pose some challenges. For example, until now, you have accessed Siri by pressing home button. But in this new iPhone X, there is no home button and therefore, you need to use some tricks to activate Siri on iPhone X without home button.

Thankfully, we have come up with two methods to access Siri on iPhone X without using home button. You can always use Hey Siri option or use AssistiveTouch button to turn on Siri on iPhone X without home button.

How to Acess Siri on iPhone X without Home Button

First off, you need to activate Hey Siri on your latest iPhone X.

Step #1: Launch Settings on your iPhone X.

Step #2: Now scroll down and tap on Siri and Search option.

Step #3: You can see Listen for “Hey Siri” as the very first option.

Simply toggle this option ON and follow onscreen steps.

While you are here, you can also enable ‘Allow Siri When Locked’ option so that you can use Hey Siri when your iPhone X is locked.

Now come back to your home screen and start sending commands to Siri by waking up this voice assistant by speaking Hey Siri.

There is another method to make Siri respond on iPhone without pressing home button. You can use AssistiveTouch virtual button to turn on Siri on iPhone X.

Method #1: How to Activate Siri Using Side on Your iPhone X

Just press and hold the side button for two or three seconds to activate Siri on iPhone X manually.

Method #2:How to Turn On Siri on iPhone X with AssistiveTouch

Normally, Siri is a built-in feature on your AssistiveTouch menu, so when you tap on that white virtual button floating on your phone, you will find Siri by default.

Still, if you have disabled this Siri option on your AssistiveTouch, you can turn on Siri on iPhone X with AssistiveTouch.

Step #1: Tap on Settings Button.

Step #4: Scroll down and tap on AssistiveTouch under INTERACTION section.

Step #6: Here, you should tap on + button.

Tap on Plus button to add new icon

You can see a new square is added in the options under TAP AN ICON TO CHANGE section.

Step #7: Tap on that new square button, which has + icon inside.

You will find several options in the list that opens up. Among these options, you will find Siri also.

Step #7: Select the Siri from the options and hit the Done button from top right corner of your phone.

Now that Siri is added to AssistiveTouch menu, you can easily activate Siri on iPhone X without using home button.
