Battery Widget Missing in iOS 11 and iOS 10 on iPhone and iPad? Follow a Simple Method

When battery widget on iPhone goes missing, you don’t need to panic. It is found that battery widget normally doesn’t appear on the notification shade. Even after removing and re-adding the Battery widget from Edit screen, it doesn’t come back to the notification center on your iPhone.

Many users Reset All Settings on iPhone in anticipation that they can see battery status from the notification screen. If you can see, you should consider yourself lucky.

In my iPhone, I have observed that Battery widget is displayed when I connect my Mpow Swift Bluetooth 4.0 Wireless Stereo Sport Headphones or any Bluetooth speakers.

This means that when you connect any Bluetooth device with your iPhone, you get to see Battery status of that device and your iPhone too. However, this is not the case when you pair AirPods with iPhone. Because there is a completely different method to check battery status of AirPods and charging case.

We don’t want to reject your query of battery widget not showing on iPhone; but the problem is that the widget shows battery or charge status only when your phone is connected with any Bluetooth device.

If the battery widget missing in iOS 11 and iOS 10 on iPhone even after pairing your Bluetooth devices with iPhone, you can follow below mentioned steps.

 

Battery Widget Missing on iPhone in iOS 11 and iOS 10? Follow the Steps

Step #1: Hold your iPhone in your hands and make sure that you are on the Home screen.

Step #2: Swipe your finger from left to right to bring up notification screen.

Step #3: You need to scroll down and tap on Edit button at the end.

Tap on Edit button

Step #4: Here, on Add Widgets screen, you can see Batteries widget.

Step #5: Tap on that red button available before batteries and then tap on remove button will appear from the right side.

Tap on the red button left to batteries widget and then tap on Remove.

Step #6: Tap on Done from the upper right corner of your phone’s screen.

(If you have not added Batteries widget at all, you can now enable it from MORE WIDGETS by tapping on ‘+’ button and then tap on ‘Done’ button from the top right side)

Next, you need to re-add Batteries widget on your iPhone. For this, you should follow the same steps as mentioned above. When you land on Add Widgets screen, simply tap on ‘+’ to add the widget. And don’t forget to tap on ‘Done’ button.

Step #7: Finally, reboot your iPhone.

To reboot your iPhone, press and hold Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously for approximately 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on screen. Please follow a different method to force restart or reboot iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus users can follow this guide to force reboot.

This should fix the battery widget not showing issue on your iPhone. Once your phone is rebooted, launch the notification center on iPhone and check battery widget.

If the problem persists, you can Reset your iOS device. Launch Settings → General → Reset → Reset All Settings → Reset All Settings.

This will reset all settings on your iPhone without deleting any media or data.
